Android privacy
AudioMultiCut Android Privacy Policy
This policy covers the AudioMultiCut Android app and the Android-specific app behavior disclosed to Google Play.
Last updated: June 22, 2026
Local editing
Normal import, waveform rendering, segment editing, preview, and export preparation happen on device.
No audio analytics
Analytics must not include raw audio, waveform bins, file names, project titles, or segment names.
Support by choice
Support receives only what you choose to send. Do not send private audio unless support asks for it.
Audio processing
AudioMultiCut for Android is built around local editing. When you import a recording, the app decodes it, draws the waveform, lets you create segments, previews boundaries, and prepares exports on your device.
For normal import, editing, playback, export, and sharing workflows, your source audio and exported audio are not uploaded to AudioMultiCut servers.
Local app data
The Android app may store project records, app settings, segment start and end times, segment names, source references, waveform data, decoded audio cache data, and exported files locally on your device.
- This data is used to reopen projects, draw the waveform, preview edits, and export clips.
- You can delete projects inside AudioMultiCut.
- You can clear local app data from Android settings or uninstall the app.
Export and sharing
When you export or share audio, Android shows destinations you choose, such as Files, messaging apps, cloud drives, or other installed apps. AudioMultiCut only sends exported audio to the destination you select.
The selected destination handles the file under that service's terms and privacy policy.
Purchases
AudioMultiCut Unlimited is billed through Google Play. Google Play handles payment information, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and purchase management under Google's terms.
AudioMultiCut does not receive your full payment card details from Google Play.
Analytics and attribution
The current Android build has settings for usage analytics and marketing attribution, but no production analytics or advertising attribution SDK is wired in this build. AudioMultiCut does not request the Android Advertising ID in this build.
If analytics or attribution providers are added in a future Android release, this policy and the Google Play Data Safety form will be updated before release.
- Analytics must not include raw audio, audio snippets, waveform bins, PCM samples, or transcripts.
- Analytics must not include source URIs, file paths, file names, project titles, segment names, contact details, or purchase tokens.
- Any analytics provider must respect the Android app settings controls.
Android beta signup
If you apply for the Android beta on audiomulticut.com, AudioMultiCut collects the Google Play email address you provide, your optional name, beta acknowledgements, signup page, submission time, and browser user agent.
- This information is used to review tester requests, add approved Google accounts to Google Play closed testing, send beta instructions, manage tester status, and understand device coverage.
- AudioMultiCut may store Android beta signup records in its configured database, email notification provider, or webhook destination used for beta operations.
- AudioMultiCut does not sell Android beta signup emails.
- To remove an Android beta signup or stop beta-related emails, use the Android support page and ask for removal.
Support
If you contact support, AudioMultiCut receives the information you choose to send, such as your message, optional contact information, app version, Android version, device model, and the part of the app where the issue happened.
Do not send private audio unless support explicitly asks for it.
Children
AudioMultiCut for Android is not designed for children.
